I finally became weary of erasing the code 32. I attempted some time ago to repair the solenoid, it worked for a while but has crapped out. I jumped the vacuum switch wires, no more code 32. But here's the odd part. The transmission (auto} now shifts exactly as it should. Before, the shift from 1 to 2 was kind of abrupt and 3rd would not engage until about 35 mph. Now, the 1-2 shift is OK and the shift from 2 to 3 will engage at 25 mph with light throttle. Converter lockup is also working better. Whaaat?

ECM etc has nothing to do w/ AT shifting. AT Likely has problems like: TV Cable is iffy or not adjusted right. Govner that drives VSS has dirt problem. For 4T60 and others w/ Vac "can" on them, the modual or vac to it has problems.
Other ECM codes may effect TCC locking but that often has problems too and is related to Tran's Temp and other issues. Driving in town may keep it working. Maybe... Or not. Drive on highway for 20 min to hours and TCC stays locked and engine stalls at a stop sign etc.
⚠️ Change AT Oil may help or not or if unit has burned parts or other defects may make worse problems because new oil "washes" the trans.
