The Fastest Fiero in the World is..... (Page 1/2)

Forum member Scott's (darkhorizon) turbocharged 3800 notchback . It always amazed me how fast Scott ran this record 9.87 1/4 mile time @142 mph with his low budget build. He did this on the second incredible run. It was nothing short of amazing. Keep your eye on the time board. I doubt if this record will ever be broken with a gasoline engine Fiero.

Really...

Fastest is over 250 mph:

There have been 2 other gas powered Fieros quicker (and faster) in the 1/4 mile:

I think it is fair to state Fastest Buick V6 Fiero.

There is proof of Scotts run on You Tube where they show the run and the timing board where you can clearly see the ET and MPH. Can you point us to fogs documented 1/4 mile run? The others maybe? I'd enjoy seeing those runs on video, so until such time as they are available, will believe Scott's 1/4 mile run as being the fastest 1/4 mile in a Fiero.

Start on page 11... time slips and videos of the cars progression. Page 14 shows both the time slip as well as a video.

We are debating one tenth of a second here between Scott's run and one that was done in the far off place of Estonia. I still don't see proof of Fogs run in a video, only a timing slip that could be forged. To let this debate rest I will simply say that Scott has the fastest 1/4 mile time in North America. using a 3800 GM powertrain, with a standard chassis in an otherwise standard Fiero .
