Took me about a year but I finally got off my ass and replaced my headliner. Made the whole car smell better

Where did you get the headliner? I t looks really good. Was it a tedious project or something that can be accomplished relatively easy?

Got it from the fiero store, it was a little expensive but it didn't take me more than an hour or two to get the whole thing done. The headliner came with some very detailed instructions.

You can also buy headliner material locally at JoAnn fabrics store, they have basic colors like gray, black, burgundy, etc.

Man it was so easy, I'm gonna start doing this as a side gig. 100 bucks and I'll change the headliner in your fiero. Extra if it's moldy

Did it just take a knife and glue or what?

That's assuming that the backing board hasn't partially disintegrated and crumbled into many pieces... although I suppose there's a way to glue it all back together again.
With my totally thrashed headliner removed, I'm considering just spraying the underside of my 84's sunroof (not including the glass panel) with a dark grey textured paint. [This message has been edited by Patrick (edited 08-13-2021).]

I was thinking about actually getting the ABS headliner from the Fiero store.
But it mentions that it could take 2-3 months to get it.
