I didn't write this, but felt it deeply. My Fiero, long since gone, was driven by four generations of my family.

Enjoy.

When I started reading it and saw the pictures, I was thinking, "Is he talking about my car?!" Then I saw it was originally sold on the other side of the state and they still had it.

I basically keep mine around for the nostalgia at this point, nothing else feels and drives like it, plus the memories that come flooding back when I do drive it.

Being a long term original owner I can easily relate. My car is not a Ferrari but it has given me a life time of memories and experiences.

It has become one of the family. Other cars will come snd go but I will keep my Fiero. It because it is a great car but because it is part of my life.

This is a good read, thanks for posting.

The Fiero certainly wasn't my first fun car, but it definitely connected with me like no other.

Definitely a great read. Reminds me of my parents taking delivery of their 85GT and the impact it had on my childhood and my life.
