Will this work guys ? As I see a lot of post about wheel and tires but all the numbers are not there , As I really don't care if they stick out a little just not to much .
17x7.5 - 5x100 - 6 inch back spacing with a +45 mm offset running 215 45 17 for the front and then 18 x 7.5 - 6 inch back space with a +45 mm offset with a set of 225/45/18 for the rear over all is 24.70 inch on the front and 25.90 in the rear .
Going on a 88 Formula all stock at the moment will upgrade brakes and coil over during the Winter . I have all these in my cart ready to order just seeing if anyone is running a +45 off set with 6" back spacing ?

There is a slight chance that the back edge of the front wheels will scrape the lower control arm if the car is lowered in the front. Only at full steering lock.
I have 17x7, 48mm wheels on the front of mine. I run about the same risk, but haven't had any issues. Just be aware. And don't use clip-on weights on the inside lip.
My back wheels are 17x8 with 35mm offset. I think your choice will, again, protrude in just about as far. I have not had any issues, even running 235/45-17s.

Please don't take my comments as the final word. Let some other people weigh in.

17x8.5 45et is what I run on the front of my 88 Coupe (I also run 18x9.5 45et in the rear)

I will classify this in the extreme fitment category.
With 0.7 degrees negative camber, the tops of the wheels will stick out past the fender by 5/16" or basically put them flush with the beltline molding.
With near zero toe, the sway bar and steering rack adjustments have to be perfectly centered to avoid the inside of the wheel rubbing the sway bar (this is the point of interference) at full lock.

Overall the wheel/tire stance (wheels above with 235/40/17 and 285/30/18) works for my car as the front and rear wheels have the exact same protrusion (flush with belt line) and my car has more of a protouring style.
