Here is what I went with on my last cover.

I just store inside but this cover is great if or out. It is very light and can be rolled into a very small roll. It repels water and so far dirt well. It is very light.

They even worked with me to cut it to fit my Indy scoop a coupe nose with a custom air dam and Fiero wing. They asked for photos and a couple measurements. They nailed it.

I no longer have an air dam sticking out and collecting dust.

I had used Tyvek material covers for years. Tyvek is a very tough material and it stands up well to the weather for a while. After repeated foldings for storage, the covers do begin to crack and this will allow rain to seep through, so it's really best to use that type for indoor storage. They have a soft inner surface that's easy on the paint finish.

I had also used the Evolution 4 covers many years ago because my wife worked for the company that owned Evolution, and she got a decent discount. After her retirement, they were more than I wanted to spend on a cover. But they were good covers.

About a year ago, I switched over to Seal Skin car covers. It isn't exactly a custom fit with things like wing and mirror pockets, but it's sized properly that it doesn't drag the ground and it cups over the front and rear fascia of my 87 GT. It also fits well on m 86 SE. It has a flannel lining and the outer skin fells rubberized. It's for indoor and outdoor use and has a 10 year warranty. It has been in outdoor use now for about a year, always being on one of the cars, depending upon which I'm driving at the time.

With every cover I've ever had, water will pond on the deck lid and I have always purchased a large rubber ball or beach ball to place on the decklid, underneath the cover to cause the water to shed in that area.

I've had good luck with Covercraft. The covers have a 3 year warranty and I usually send them in for replacement every year or so, so I get 4 covers out of it. Since the covers are like $100-120, it's still as cheap as the ebay specials with questionable matierials if you assume I get 4 of them vs 1 cheapie.

My biggest complaint is about 7 years ago some doofus Fiero owner told covercraft to change the GT cover design to make the sides shorter and the cover no longer covers the rocker panels. Guy probably had a Formula or something and ordered a GT cover and whined it didn't fit lol. Despite talking to even the main product engineer, they wouldn't revert back to the correct design but are using this new design. I have learned you an ask for an "old pattern" so I do that. One other complaint is the cover is custom except for the Dumbo mirror pockets. They aren't smart enough to use smaller pockets so everytime I have to ask for smaller pockets and longer sides on the bottoms so the cover fits right.

It must be fixed. My Covercraft on the sides goes to the floor or right to it.

My old cover was a 85 GT and between the Indy scoop and air dam the lower nose was never covered.

You don't have a GT fastback cover.
