There ought to be an official thread on special tools for the Fiero (Page 1/1) |

Over the years of Fiero ownership, I’m sure many here have come up with “special tools” to do a particular job/function on their Fiero. Their really should be an official “go to” thread where the Fiero community could find out what others have come up with (special tool wise) to perform a certain task.
My contribution is this: For driving in new control arm bushings and drive axle seals I went to Home Depot and bought a bunch of PVC piping joints/couplers in various sizes. They worked great and could be ground down to fit a particular bushing diameter.
You have any tools that are specially made for a Fiero? Kit

Other than a tool I made to open the front compartment from the outside (when the cable is the inoperative), regular mechanic tools have never let me down.

Axle nut socket was the only one I remember buying for the Fiero, everything else I already had.
10mm sockets to spare would be good to have.

Don't forget the special dew wipe screwdriver... Door spring compressor?
Other than that most other tools are standard outside of the large sizes for things like the axle nuts .

Amen! I got one from Rodney and it was a lifesaver.
