Hello World. Season's Greetings to all on PFF, my name's Vincent, a retired machinery builder working on an ongoing project, designing and building a custom GT, a Fiero. An all time admirer of Aldikacti's product, I had envisioned a few detail modifications allowing an increase in power and handling, lightening up, improving the suspension. Over the decades of observing the builds chronicled here, I've followed with great respect many notable success', deserving of applause. Archie's Miura. bmwguru's VR6 Bloozberry' analyses and tremendous work of measurements and designs, a valuble treasure of drawings. BubbaJoe's TransAm glass install. Amida's incredible skills. I followed Zac88GT's NorthStar, downloading the detailed photos when posted. So many more, a wealth of knowledge and problem solving that makes it all worthwhile. -

http://www.2040-cars.com/po...-kit-car-nr--228569/ - A Canadian seeking the story of this widebody Fiero. Haven't found any reference or photo while searching this site. Anyone on board create this unique styling, with so many nice features ? Interested in learning the method used to create the panels.

That is a BMW M1 copy that was (apparently) based on a MATRA- From a website that had a lot of pictures of that car;
To be exact, we found this mellow-yellow BMW M1 replica on the German eBay (American’s aren’t the only folks around the world with crazy ideas…). While the original, mid-engined M1 was based on Lamborghini blueprints wearing a 3.5L straight six, this M1’s origin is somewhat less swanky as it’s based on a 1982 Matra Murena. The latter was a 3-seat sports car produced from 1980 through 1983 by the French engineering group Matra and developed in cooperation with the automaker Simca. It was offered with two four cylinder engines, a 1.6-liter and a 2.2-liter unit.-

Thanks
! lol I am not a real Fiero ! Weird co-incidence, Moments ago, I was working on the green Matra photo, my ocd had kicked in and I just had to level it, fun with inventing landscapes ! Fieros of the '70s I too noticed the difference in the windscreen. Think it's a great idea though, inspired by the VR6 install of bmwguru, a man installs a 5L big six transversly, oh ! M1 at Nurburgring Nordschleife ' Since 2010 there has been a worldwide unique vehicle in the starting field of the endurance championship Nürburgring, the BMW M1 from Peter and Achim Heinrich. Based on the Munich sports car from the late seventies, sports equipment with the latest technology was created under the hood. Power steering, racing ABS, ESP, sequential gearbox with shift paddles on the valance and in the rear an in-line six-cylinder engine optimized by Gerent Rennsporttechnik rages. ' I'll say, raging down into the foxhole ! I'll look up the Matra reference, wonder if he built a set of molds...
Yeah. edit - He did make molds, perhaps there is more than one, or could merely be a repaint. !
Whoever built the plug has achieved the desired result, a decent tribute, which I believe would adapt to the Fiero structure very well. BMW M1 - Tyrrell's Classic Workshop
