Another great reminder that typical Americans are probably the most generous people on Earth. While many countries (Canada included) often make snide remarks or complain about the USA, when disaster strikes anywhere in the world, or something sad occurs right at home, Americans are more likely to step up and donate time or money than just about any other people. I realize that this is a generalization... but it is simply my observation based on a lot of time I have spent travelling in the USA as well as other parts of the world.
Beautiful story. Well done!
