1988 Fieros in JY, CA and TX (Page 1/1)

There is an 88 Fiero in the Stockton, CA Pick & Pull (Arrived Dec14) and another in Belton, TX (Dec 2)....

Someone should go grab all of the brake calipers, the front hubs and the headlight wiring harness (Among other things) If the coolant pipes are in good shape grab them also.

(Do not let any 88 brake calipers go to the crusher)

Are hubs rare? I thought the front was the same as the 84-87 hubs?

Also the front calipers aren't that scarce due to calipersonline having sold so many NOS over the years. Depending on the yard, it may not even be that good a deal. The Stockton yard it's $25 each for basically a core. You can get rebuilt front for what $70 including core? Rears are definitely worth picking up though.

Front hubs on 88 are different, and unique to the car/year. Worth grabbing for sure. Calipersonline has been hit and miss with having inventory available and also not great at communication. I wouldn't count on them as a source for calipers for 88 Fieros indefinitely...

Oh ok guess it was the rears that were the same. No calipersonline is no longer selling them. My point is they sold so many thousands over the last two decades that there are a lot more fronts out there.

Historically Fieros in a salvage yard are stripped within hours of arrival (ESPECIALLY GTs) but brakes haven't been one of the things stripped in the past. I last saw a Fiero in the yard maybe about 5 years ago.
