Greetings Folks,
Is anyone still making a working/Functional Gated shifter plate that will work on my 5 Speed in conjunction with the Euro Shifter that Dickman sells?
Thanks!

I made an improved version of the original many years ago, but don't have any left. If you give me your email I'll send you the specs if you want to make your own. [This message has been edited by Skybax (edited 01-05-2022).]

Good link, I remember seeing that, and I should clarify that the one I made many years ago was not truly "functional" but just a revised version of the original Fi-Euro shifter where the gates had closer tolerances. The OP might want to check out the photos by Amida at the bottom of this thread... https://www.fiero.nl/forum/...0811-1-048397-4.html[This message has been edited by Skybax (edited 01-05-2022).]

There are a few issues the main one is the knuckle on the shifter is right up to the present bezel. So regardless of shifter the bezel needs to come up 1/2 - 1 inch. The next issue is the location of the gears and the real issue in end is even if you make this right you will still have cable stretch and one tiny movement and your now immobilized until you remove it or re-adjust the cables. With all the hassles it really isn't worth the effort. I have Rodneys short shifter and have a custom shifter knob which makes it very short and takes up the shaft my shifter is only 2-3 inches high with knob. Longer throw to gears so need to be precise if you like racing i would go longer stick.[This message has been edited by Australian (edited 01-06-2022).]
