Reading an old 2020 thread I read in the Event's Section by Trinton, I was wondering why there isn’t any (current) Fiero-related Zoom meetings? Seems to me to be a great way to meet other Fiero people in a safe, Covid free environment. There are so many reasons it’s a win/win! No commute to the meeting, no restaurant food charges & tip (if you meet at a restaurant of course), you can pick & choose the meetings you want to participate in (IF that particular club/group is open to that), etc. Just think of it, you could possibly go to a Fiero meeting with a Canadian Fiero club, meet famous members like Patrick, and then next week go to one in the Lone Star state, Texas! Yes, I do realize that for some areas/subjects of the meeting that pertain only to that clubs internal organization, I can be dismissed from the meeting, muted out, etc. but the point is that I would think most clubs would welcome/invite anyone wanting to discuss, ask questions or wanting to show off their Fiero’s in a real-time Zoom meeting. Your thoughts? Kit

Thanks for the link. I plan to attend starting in the Feb. meeting. (if I don’t have to work that Saturday) Hopefully, those attending won’t get too annoyed with my personality and hit the Mute button. 😀 Kit

Zoom meetings are generally sponsored by local or regional Fiero clubs. The reason that they are not advertised here is that the meeting attendees must be limited so that a decent chat can be maintained. Talk to your local club and get something organized. California is a big state and there are surely clubs out there

Plandemic is over, people prefer to meet, look under the decklid, and talk shop in person.

Pandemic is over? Are you serious? Do you not watch the news? I completely and absolutely disagree with that. Kit

According to a handful of PFF members who regularly post in O/T, there's never been a pandemic. [This message has been edited by Patrick (edited 01-22-2022).]

It's over. The only thing left is the mass psychosis of the virtue signalling soy boys and girls that aren't smart enough to realize their masks have holes 100x larger than a "COVID" molecule yet beg the government to force not only them but everyone else to wear them as a virtuous badge of honor and servitude, and their dinosaur media pushing their tyrannical agenda.

I agree 100% good info but moving on to the subject of Zoom meetings vs shows; not all of us live in warm areas that can have car shows 12 months out of the year. In the North East, Mid Atlantic and the Midwest car shows can only be held four or five months out of the year. For those folks when its cold or especially when there is snow outside, Zoom meetings can have real value. Just put out a call to clubs your area or to local Fiero owners and have the meet up. ------------------ " THE BLACK PARALYZER" -87GT 3800SC Series III engine, custom ZZP /Frozen Boost Intercooler setup, 3.4" Pulley, Northstar TB, LS1 MAF, 3" Spintech/Hedman Exhaust, P-log Manifold, Autolite 104's, MSD wires, Custom CAI, 4T65eHD w. custom axles, Champion Radiator, S10 Brake Booster, HP Tuners VCM Suite.
