I was looking for new dew wipes for my Fiero, and stumbled upon these 3D Printable Dew Wipes. Has anyone here actually tried printing and installing these?

I am a 3d printer enthusiast and have never seen that particular print before. (Search on thingi sucks)
I wouldn't try this ever for multiple reasons.
1. you still have to buy the felt and rubber. After you are done the cost of printing and time spent on other materials will probably be equal or greater than the cost of replacement and it will be a rubber glued to plastic that's been glued mess.

2. Dew wipes are miserable to replace. Id 100% only do it with proper replacement material that will last another 15-30 years.

3. If the glue fails on the printed one you could scratch your glass. Replacement glass is getting harder to come by and you have to drill out rivets in the regulator to replace it.

Cliff, you can ask if he has photos of a printed version. He's actually a member on here and here is a thread where he made another 3D printed part.
