Hi Fiero friends. You guys helped me out with advise countless times.. pleas come thru again. This time its my water pump in my 87 Iron Duke ( puke...hahaha ). Its leaking real bad. I tried to find some posts on here but couldn't... cant figure that out since WP replacements are common. Ive been in there starting to do the job, but cant figure how to get to the bottom bolts . Heck, I cant even see them. And then theres the large belt pully that appears to be pressed on. At first i though a 4 cyl WP replacement would be easy ( yes, nothings easy, first mistake). I did it on my Formula with no problems at all. I can see the forward 3, maybe 4 bolts. Soooo, whats the trick ? Thanks beforehand you all. With gas up to 4.50 a gallon, I need my friendly 4 cylinder.

Need a "power steering" pulley kit to pull/press the pulley first before removing the bolts. might get thru "loaner tools" at AZ etc. Cheap ones @ HF and other may fail and break.
To use that often need to pull the battery, battery plastic "heat guard" if there and 2 nuts holding motor mount then carefully jack the motor so have clearance for pulley kit.
then after Install WP then press pulley on.
Is likely motor mount is bad as well. See my Cave, Engine Mounts
⚠️ Warning: Watch pulley alignment! More w/ AC car because short sections the belt Do Not last long w/ bad alignment. See my Cave, Serpent Belt
