It's good for newer stuff. A lot of the older codes (including some of the Fiero - and others from that period) are superseded or just missing. Some of those are due to GM recycling codes. Particularly for engines.

I have spent a lot of time on codes over the years. One thing I find is that there are lots of errors in them. I just acquired a 1987 C-10 longbed that's really straight but has a few holes in it. I wanted to check the RPO's just for fun. There is a code on it of D1G which the AC Delco list says is "Color red" It seemed familiar so I looked in my 87 P & Catalog and find it's "Gear, speedo driven." Then I tried E6C Which Delco says is "Country Gambia" which is in a segment with other foreign country codes, I guess for export vehicles. There are also FLT, FS1, TFD, VQ1 and YA8. Can't find them anywhere, but I have lots of other places to look. There are a few codes to be found in the dealer album if you pick through it. My eyes are older than they used to be so I better have another look at the label on the truck :-)

Even when you had a list for the 80's... RPO List can and does change for each Model Year.
Can find most or all RPO for a given MY at alldatadiy.com Along w/ correct wiring etc for same unlike crap Haynes and other 3rd party "books."------------------ Dr. Ian Malcolm: Yeah, but your scientists were so preoccupied with whether or not they could, they didn't stop to think if they should.
