Our Nova Scotia Fiero WhatsApp group is watching this intently. Many of us know Chad and Tim personally.

Biology says there are coded genetic signals in every cell, but we KNOW that no intelligence created life.

I have never seen a hoist outdoors before.. I wonder what happens to the components after a rain storm?

The guys seem to be unable to figure out how the door molding is removed. As for the lift outdoors I guess the owner works under the car in the rain using it as a cover. I don't see how this lift would survive long term as the switches, motor, hydraulic pump, cylinders, catch mechanism are all exposed. I would not want to be the guy that works under that lift.------------------ " THE BLACK PARALYZER" -87GT 3800SC Series III engine, custom ZZP /Frozen Boost Intercooler setup, 3.4" Pulley, Northstar TB, LS1 MAF, 3" Spintech/Hedman Exhaust, P-log Manifold, Autolite 104's, MSD wires, Custom CAI, 4T65eHD w. custom axles, Champion Radiator, S10 Brake Booster, HP Tuners VCM Suite. Lots of people on FB were really critical of his methods. Others said that they have seen some of his completed work, and it looks really nice.
Will be interesting to see.

I believe he mentions using Bondo on the panels so the red flag gets raised.

I've seen several outdoor car lifts in Philadelphia in addition to inside ones at same facility. There's also 2 outdoor lifts 12 miles from me at an auto salvage yard. They're for demolition and salvage purpose. Since most cars there no longer run it would be a pain to maneuver it into a garage and set it on a lift. I've also seen them in other auto salvage yards. I don't know how they protect the motors etc. but used oil and grease are plentiful.

I try not to be critical of other people's taste in design as a designer myself but some of his stuff is hard to handle. Just not my taste. I sure hope he doesn't make a monstrosity our of the Fiero. He sure doesn't seem to get the subtle idiosyncrasies of the car.
