Hello everyone,
I've been mostly absent from this site for oh... about 15 years or so-- I was MontanaFiero back in the day. But when you let your email address expire, there seems to be no way to recover that password and history. Today I finally just created a new, similar name, to start afresh. If anyone has any ideas on recovering an old account, by all means, chime in.
I'm active on the Facebook Fiero page, but Pennocks is just so much more searchable and the resource is so valuable. Once I know if this site is being actively managed, I will contribute monetarily to help keep it running.
A little about me-- I'm in Billings, Montana. I have my driveway packed with 4 Fieros, most are a project of one sort or another, to my neighbors' dismay, of course. I try to keep the area looking clean and discrete, but they all know. Today I brought home on a trailer and I got the eyeball-- "another one??". Time to start making space in the garage before winter hits; they say its gonna be a snowy one this year. That's why I also have a Subaru, lol.
SO, today I brought home this '84 SE with a 3800 in it. I'll make a post in technical when I get a minute... but here's the deal. It started and ran 17 years ago (That's what they all say). The guy says the 3800 has about 25,000 on it. It came from California and has a state registered sticker on it so the title will say 3800. I'd say it was a pretty professional install. Right now, lots is disconnected and it will be a fun little project. I am thinking that this A-frame just needs to come out and go into my '87 GT, since its motor is kind-of tired.
The GT has A/C, so my technical post will be asking about adding compressor pulleys, etc and making it all come together. Obviously I'm only beginning this research. I've barely opened the engine cover.------------------ 1986 SE 3.4L Pushrod swap, 4spd 1987 GT 2.8L Auto 1986 GT 2.8L, 4Spd factory wingless, factory sunroof delete 1984 SE 3800, Auto

According to some, it's been abandoned years ago by it's owner - some guy known as Cliff Pennock. Pretty odd that new features seem to find it's way to the forum regularly but I guess that's due to the extensive AI the system is running on. 😉
Anyways, welcome back!
