So a while back one of the bulbs died in my rear taillights so I took out the housing and boom... 2 of the clips broke as I wasn't exactly sure what I was doing as I was removing them. Has anyone found a good solution to repair this issue, or is it just time to get a new set? Thanks

You mean the plastic that holds glorified "nut" on back of Taillight fixture broke? In short term, "Plastic weld" epoxy might work. Let it "dry" for 2 days min and do not tighten the 3 screws to mount them in the car.
Clean everything. Glue them. Glue something to brace the parts.
Somewhere on the broken part is often PN of part and next to that letters... in this case ABS or PP. PP doesn't like any "glues." ABS can "Glue" but have to clean etc as above. Do Not use carb cleaner or any other can leave anything behind. I think ABS also can be "solvent welded" too. If done that, likely needs a brace attach w/ same epoxy. Do Not use "Model Glue" as most are "loaded" w/ Polystyrene.
