So... in a friendly manner..... who's the person who's been stripping down the Fieros that pop up at the Conley P.A.P. / Hi ! i happen to be the other guy. In the short time these cars are in that yard, I imaging its been basically you and I who've been stripping down these cars. I like to get to know the Fiero folks in my area... just wondering who you are. Could this possible be Charlie ... Fierofool on here ?
P.S. you beat me to the beachwood seats in the silver notchie thats there now. If you pulled them to resell, then I'm your buyer. I got a near mint GT that needs a drivers side seat . Cars near perfect, except for that one seat. Go figure.
P.S.S. anybody need suspension parts ? Thats all still there.

Bob, it wasn't me. Last time I was at Conley was with Chaz Dills when I hauled a 3800sc for him. I did get a few small parts from a black 87gt at that time. That was a couple months ago. June I think.

Every time the local junkyards got Fieros, SOMEBODY always beat me to the good parts.

The first visit I ever made to Pull A Part, I encountered a pristine 85GT. It was a Cash For Clunkers car. There were two guys getting parts, so I passed them by. Several days later when I went back, they had totally destroyed the car. Ripping the dash out instead of unbolting it. Ripped the door panels loose without removing the armrest. I don't know what they were after in either instance.
But I was lucky on a few occasions to hit on a beautiful 84 with a tan interior and I and another pretty much took the car home with us. I think Pull A Part got about $700 total off us that day. Then there was an 87 junker coupe that had all new suspension parts. Again, I and another got the shocks, struts, calipers and rotors plus headlight motors and harness, and some minor things. Last was an 88GT that another person and I got newly installed loaded front and rear calipers with new hoses. It's just the luck of the draw that a good car arrives and we get to them first.

Pull A Part in Conley has a notification page on their website. Enter in the car and year you're waiting for, and if and when one comes in, they'll email you informing you that the car you've been waiting for is now in their yard. Thats how I found out about the latest Fiero there. So far nothing on my 427 AC Cobra inquiry....hahaha

I'm closer to the North Atlanta yard and I have a permanent notification for Fiero activated in all 3 Atlanta yards. I usually get notification the same day or day after one goes on the yard. I also have a relative that works in the office at a big yard north of Athens, Ga. that has notified me of Fieros coming on their yard. I can't always get there, but it's good to know and let others know. One of our members in Augusta is really quick to let us know.
