Just dump oil replace new filter. empty fuel re-fuel. and get ready to replace things like all engine mounts with rubber already rotten as well as all bushings or the reason it was stopped being driven. Everything needs replacing made of rubber including tires. Brakes most likely seized along with cables. New plugs engine flush Radiator flush removing all air.[This message has been edited by Australian (edited 10-11-2022).]

All of that got done along with a distributor replacement and a new fuel pump with strainer. Ran for a minute. Can’t get it going again.

We hit a low mile GT back on the road last year.
The engine needed a new gas tank, sender and pump.
Then it needed new fuel injectors as they were really bunked up.
After that it just hired up like new.
We did the brakes and it is running like new now.

If anyone needs a new distributor look at Summit Racing AAZ-84-1633 $82.99.
It is all new complete drop in. The bearing is improved and the reluctor ring is better and a new style like an LS engine so no more rust.
I was going to go through mine but this one was great and runs fine.[This message has been edited by hyperv6 (edited 10-13-2022).]

Does it run on starting fluid? Compression, ignition, fuel. If you did the distributor, make sure it is setup properly. Firing order is correct? Are the injectors clogged? After sitting for a while, bad fuel and clogged injectors are usually the most likely problems.
Ps. I no left Pensacola in 2011. I'll be there for Christmas this year visiting family. I hope to move back at some point.
