Adios, auf Wiedersehen, au revoir, ciao, goodbye... (Page 1/1)

I have finally sold my 85 SE so I am now Fieroless and officially out of Fieros.

Sadly the arthritis in my knees in just too much now for me to work on them anymore without it killing me and just pushing the clutch in on a short drive takes its toll on knee so as much as I hat to say it, it is time to finally let go.

I have had a great time working and driving these car and making, even if only virtual, so many friends and I think/hope that my car has gone to a good home where it will be loved as much as I have loved it over the 15 years or so that I have had this one.

I could not have done as much as I have done without the wonderful support and knowledge of everyone on this forum. I suspect I shall still lurk from time to time though.

Y'all take care and look after our little cars.

Dave, I've enjoyed/appreciated your posts over all these years. If you don't mind me asking, how old are your knees?

Will you be keeping your website up? It's a gem of a resource.

Probably as old as his elbows. ;-D

I've enjoyed your posts, too. Always interested in what a fellow Carolinian has to say.

The knees (and the rest of me) are now 69 years old.
I'll leave the web site up although I think it or some of it at least is archived at the way back machine.

You've got 2-3 years on me. My lower back is my "Achilles heel"... so yeah, I understand how problems with aches and pains can certainly limit our enjoyment of various activities. Best wishes to you!

I have a couple of years on both of you. I can truly say that getting older is not for sissies.
