Is this a custom job? (Page 1/2)

Hi! Is this a custom job or a body kit?

It kind of looks like a photoshop job. But I'm not sure.

And does anybody make the IMSA kit?

Thanks

Not sure on the first picture. As fsr as I know, nobody is making an IMSA kit. Why they are so expensive when they pop up for sale from time to time.

Archie sells a widebody kit that looks different than the IMSA but still looks awesome. It is the same width increase as the IMSA kit which is 3" wider per side in the rear.

Thanks for the replies. I know Archie's body kits. While they are great and works of art, I like the IMSA more, because it looks more integrated. Specially that it seems Arches are mainly for the aero nose and I'm a fan of the original nose and the 1988 Formula nose types. Not many body kits for those noses it seems? While you might be able to use Archie's with them, it seems the kit is designed for the lines of the aero. The notchback 2M4 IMSA from the photo above looks so purposeful.

The red car, the more I look at it the more I think it's a photoshop job. Unless somebody knows photos of other angles?

I do have the molds for a knock off DGP. It is not near as wide. Only about 4 inches in the back and stock width in the front. It could be easily modified to be wider. I’m contemplating going wider with this one.

My goal is to have it completed by the 40th

Looking good. A little wider wouldn't be bad though.

You did it all yourself? You're talented. Will you offer it as a kit?

I like the nose a lot. Gives me Lotus vibes.

Yea I hand laid all the glass. I’m working on the lower chin a bit to give it more of a lip and flat bottom. I’m not sure if I will make it a sellable kit for anyone. I would much rather build it start to finish for someone.

I don't post photoshops
That's an award winning car:

You can try to get ahold of FieroMonkey on here. He is in California and has an SD4 replica. I don't know if he would sell but it's worth a shot:

There is an IMSA body for sale in the mall, but it is the fastback/aero version.
