Thanks JR - please let us know how well it works in daylight, and also, (please don't actually test this one out) in the event of a crash, will the phone ( and/or that whole thing) fly directly into yer face?
Does the charger charge and hold the phone securely using your typical phone case?
Also, would your phone overheat sitting there, in the sun, and charging on your dashboard on a hot day? and I'm assuming the thing itself would be able to withstand "hot car" temps...[This message has been edited by TheDigitalAlchemist (edited 01-06-2023).]

Hope you used privacy.com etc to protect you Credit Card, worse a Debit Card, with Virtual #. CC has more fraud protection by Fed Law. DC your up to the bank's whims will actually protect you. Because site scream scam w/ bogus "sale."
As to using a phone this way... Most phones don't like screen on a lot and have a short run time like that. Not just battery time if used but heat generates by phone + sun light on them can cause many problems.
People w/ heavy cases like Otter Box act like insulation and often adds to above issue. Heat shortens battery lifetime even when plugged into external power.------------------ Dr. Ian Malcolm: Yeah, but your scientists were so preoccupied with whether or not they could, they didn't stop to think if they should. The website says this HUD uses bluetooth to connect to your phone, and specifically states “your phone stays in your pocket.” One buyer left a comment saying he had trouble finding a HUD app that would work with the system.
Looking forward to seeing if you like it.

Unfortunately their photos are of different devices. Even the reviews below use yet another device. I believe this is what you get. It is a screen with a mini LCD display that is projected on to the screen.

Oh, looks like the phone on it from quick view...
Site still screams scam so didn't bother staying. You might get product and is junk Example: This $5,000 SkyQuad Drone Scam Costs $12 - Krazy Ken’s Tech Talk - YouTube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4ICduOfMbzw
worse more problems as most don't go to scam sites w/o even private browser so have a lot of cookies and other trackers on their PC etc. VPN does not protect you for that no matter what Nord et al claims.

Curious if this worked out. After you left St. Louis group fell apart. I guess everyone needed your enthusiasm to keep the group going.
