Elbow grease works, but I don’t want to damage the clear coat… Trinten JAN 23, 02:51 PM I had a similar issue on my last Fiero, the best I could tell is it was some sort of mildew build up from when the car was sitting for a long time. I've seen it on other Fieros. Getting it off required a stage of using a car cleaner (or something even like Purple Power), and then a water/bleach mixture, letting it sit, scrub some, and try again.
