Where to find info on Parade or track used Indy cars (Page 1/1)
Irocnroll89 FEB 14, 01:29 PM
Hello all, I have tried to find how many cars were part of the photo op/parade cars. I figure under 50 but more than 12. Any idea who or how to find out. Thanks

Unfortunately the real historian of pace cars was Ron Treichel. He went by Paced84 on here and passed away a couple years ago.

If I were looking to pick up the baton how or who might I engage with?

I messaged one person who in turn is contacting another person with some knowledge of these cars.

There is a thread on here that is an Indy registry. That should get you headed in the right direction.

Thanks the Registry thread is a dead end.

Seems like all the Indy registry websites are gone from the internet. The only person I know of who had original documentation is Rick Borecky but he is no longer on here.

Rick is out of Fieros but continues to refinish old rifles and such. He is on this website if you would like to try to contact him:
