Just wanted to give a big thumbs up for a gear oil that worked really good for my Toyota pickup. (5 speed / 4 cylinder) Over the years the shifting action has gotten noticeably stiffer and notchy, especially when it’s cold. Anyways, I have tried various brands and formulas but none of them gave me the results that this one gave me. (see pic below) This stuff is not miracle fluid but it does help a lot to make the tranny shift better. I showed this to my 944 friend and he says the 944 guys swear by this stuff. Both of my Fiero’s are autos so I cannot comment on whether it is even recommended for Fiero transmissions or whether it works well in a Fiero application. Your comments? Thanks, Kit [This message has been edited by Kitskaboodle (edited 03-12-2023).]

Red Line MTL might possibly be good stuff to use in an Isuzu 5-spd or Muncie 4-spd... but from previous discussions we've had, including the one below, it doesn't cure the infamous Getrag rattle.

My 88 Getrag had that rattle with Valvoline or GM Syncromesh, but stopped with Royal Purple Synchromax.

Yes, I like that transmission oil.
I use it in my Ford Ranger (M5OD-R1 5-speed).
I also use it in my Fiero (Muncie 4-speed).
It's interesting that the bilingual labeling on your bottle is English/French, not English/Spanish.[This message has been edited by pmbrunelle (edited 03-12-2023).]
