shift in reverse

Just put "reverse" in the search box and look through the results.

Within five seconds, I found 19 potential hits using shift into reverse

A good place to start, is reading the Search Help page. PFF's search is a bit finicky, but once you get the hang of it you should be able to find what you want.

Another way to search PFF, is by using Google Seach. Just type your search query as you would normally do on Google, but at the end, write "site:.fiero.nl". It will then only search through pages on fiero.nl. There's one downside however, and that's that Google has only indexed 30,000 pages or so. PFF search will search through all 1,000,000+ pages.

I'm not sure why Google only has about 30,000 pages in its index. It used to have well over 500,000 pages indexed but that number drops almost daily. Looking at Google's Webmaster page, it tells me it simply hasn't indexed those pages yet. So there are no issues with those pages, it just hasn't come around to indexing them. Which is weird because they were indexed in the past. Google works in mysterious ways, I guess.

I suspect a lot of users simply don't click on the two dropdown boxes, and end up only ever searching through Subject/Username in All Active Forums. This unfortunately eliminates a lot of information!

Cliff, is it even necessary to include "site:."? When I do a Google Search, I just use "fiero.nl" (along with whatever words/phrases I'm looking for), and it seems to do the trick.

I'll also add that Google Search is excellent for trying to find images that have been posted in the forum.

Agreed. Google is the easiest way I can find pictures I know I have posted somewhere on PFF.

I miss my Fiero, this probably due to the cables stretching and the shifter is out of adjustment.
See you don't need to search just ask and someone will tell you. Or they will search for you and call you a dumb ass.
But end of the day you have an answer.

Your response is rather odd... especially considering the heading of this thread, as given by the OP.
