Hi all - I believe this is my first time posting, so hello! I am hoping and God-Willing going to purchase a dream car next week, a Black 88 CJB GT from a local enthusiast in town. It is in pretty good shape, but obviously not perfect. I am hoping to bring it back to show quality and keep it as stock as possible. With that, One thing it needs is new quarter panel windows as he had a wrench fall down and crack the passenger side I have been looking for all the parts I need for other things for awhile and never got around to actually ordering. For the last year, I swear the Premium Window set on TFS was 399.99, even just last week it was that...now, last night as I was going to finally place an order, I see that the price increased to 439.99...am I crazy? Or was this just a very recent price change? Thanks for any help

Nope. You're not imagining it. Prices are rising everywhere. For our cars, as parts get more scarce, expect to see the costs go up, even at TFS.
It’s not just glass that’s going up. Brake calipers and rotors for ‘84-‘87 cars have almost doubled in the past two years. ‘88 calipers are crazy priced -if you can find them. Pure economics 101: supply vs. demand.[This message has been edited by Mike in Sydney (edited 05-14-2023).]

It is not just our car it is all cars as we are in inflationary times and the the powers in charge are not doing much to help stem it or protect our economy from it.
I work in the performance after market and I mysel have been buying parts I put off now to save the price increases. More are coming.
