The great Sage was kind enough to let me borrow a set of his wing stand molds. Took me awhile to get some time to think about how to make em, but came up w a rough idear and made a try last week. Came out ok. Made another stand this morning before an estimate, was dry when I came back.
Heres the side and top in a mold this mornin

Here they are bolted to my wing

Then I made some cups from foil tape(forgot to wax em lol), 1/4x20 bolts ( I went and bought some didnt use yours Sage ), thru 2 layers of heavy woven glass my cuz had next door, made up the bottoms. That stuff is super beefy. I was really worried about the bolts ripping through or spinning in place. I ground the shiny finish off each side of the bolt and ground a cross in the tops to roughen the surface to get glass in there. Then set the wing and stands on w some weights.

Came out super strong, and those bolts aint going anywhere! Hit it w quick coat of bondo, gave it a rough sand and hit it w some primer

These areas came out kinda thin, this was the first try. 1 layer of that woven stuff will thicken it up

I think I got the process down and the bugs worked out. Strength was my biggest concern( they did come out fairy symmetrical lol), and Id have no problem driving around w these holding the wing. The next ones will be even stronger w the better materials.

Outstanding! Will only get better with subsequent pulls!
