I am just copying this from facebook. I don't know anything about the event personally . . . . . Alan Galbraith with the Chattanooga Motorcar Festival here. We’d like to invite Fieros to participate in our Concours on Sunday, Oct. 15 in downtown Chattanooga. We are looking for a couple of examples of under appreciated makes/models. Cars that the general public would not be that familiar with.
We’ve got a class set aside just for under appreciated cars and would love to have Fieros participate. Registration is free, but any donation to the charities that the concours supports would be appreciated.
𝐁𝐎𝐍𝐔𝐒 – Concours entrants get two 3-day tickets to the event, including a concert by the B-52s. Car owners can register at the link below.

Select “Concours d’Lemons” in the “Specialty Class” drop down of the application form. . . . . . . Not sure I like the category "Councours d'Lemons" . . . . also, should this be posted in the "events forum"?

This class started at an event around the Pebble Beach event in California.
It is a event that covers a little of everything.
The fact is the Fiero and 90% of most cars will never be at the Pebble Beach show so this show is a catch all for the others. Odd, Rare and weird all attend.
I would go. I just was at a local concourse show and it was filled with nearly 70 Ferrari's and about every exotic you can think of. It also catered to many other makes and brands but most are very high end cars. Even with that my buddy and I attended with our Fieros and we were well received.
The older folks were I had one, wish I had one, Knew someone who had one etc. All positive. The kid today were all like this is really cool.
I think the thing that applied to us is we were the relatable exotic. It was a car people could relate to in some way. There was absolutely no negativity.
I have a Corvette that is mint and the Fiero. The Corvette is more a joy to drive but the Fiero is the best to show. If I bring the Corvette it is just another red Corvette. The Fiero on the other hand really draws much positive reactions.
If your car is in prime shape I think you will have a good time.
Too many Fiero people stick to just Fiero events. I for a long time expanded to Pontiac and some higher end events. My car is done so it is in good shape and to be honest I have done very well at these larger open events.
What has shocked me is I have even gotten a number of best in show awards, Paint, interior and engine along the way. This is a Fiero against much more expensive stuff. many of these cars have more int he paint than I have in the car.
The Best paint one was a laugh as my car is half original paint and the rest was painted a part at a time. I call it the Frankenstein paint job.
I recomend getting out to those who have not already done so and find that the Fiero is doing pretty well in public opinion and even at other larger events.[This message has been edited by hyperv6 (edited 09-22-2023).]

I have just been informed that Fiero won the Lemons class at this show.
The owner is a member here, I will not steal his thunder by announcing his name.

I did attend and what a great show. I thought more Fieros would show but only one. I would like to post some pictures of the cars but working with a Mac and posting pictures just do not get along. There was a very nice MERA in the show. Had a great time, the group that puts this on did a great job. I could not thank them enough for their professional way of putting on this show.

I saw there was a Mera up on the Mecum auction in Chattanooga. Does anyone know what it sold for?

I was talking with someone at the show and they said it was around $10K. I did not take any pictures of my 85 so Joe posted an old one from another show.
