Can anyone tell me what this filter is called? (Page 1/1)

I know what it does, I just don't know what it's called. I'd like to buy a new one since I'm sure it's original.

Something like brake booster vacuum filter or something?

.

Also... anyone know where I can get a replacement one of these?

The one on the other side is some kind of weird modified cap, and I'd like to use the originals since they are more appropriate for the cradle.

Thanks!!!

I believe that right now the only option you have for engine cradle mounts is the Prothane kit which adds a little more vibration to the car when the motor is running. They're stiffer than the stock rubber mounts.

For the filter, Dorman makes a replacement that is all plastic or if you want something similar to stock with the metal ring in the center, you can use a Firebird version.

You can always get Rodney's aluminum cradle solid mounts. They would do away with those rusted caps.

Power Brake Booster Filter at AutoZone.

It definitely did it's job on my Indy when the booster's rubber diaphragm turned to dust.
It kept the engine from sucking it all in. (brakes don't work when clogged)

I don’t think they make the straight in and straight out anymore but couldn’t a fuel filter be used ? Or is the filter material not correct ?
