I’ve been away for over a decade and the forum looks the same but with changes. Why does GFC only go back to one and a half pages of topics?
I’m looking to get a GT in the next few months but my main concern is getting a set of tail lights that aren’t $2000+. Are we SOL on getting a set that aren’t at scalper prices?

Because there's about fifty dozen competing or overlapping Facebook, Tictok, Instagram, Snapchat and Twitter sites draining away the traffic.

That doesnt explain why a history of topics is not accessible. Lack of new posts is understandable.

Ooops, my bad. That's fixable by clicking on the "Show Topics From Last xxx Days" drop-down menu.

It'll go back 223 pages to 2013 if you like. Beyond that, the threads are archived and accessible through the Search function.

They exist. I have a few spare sets of taillights and a few spare 88 GTs.

PM what you would charge for a set. Also what you would charge for one of your GTs.[This message has been edited by AF2kXgA (edited 10-28-2023).]

I am looking for really, a 87 GT. Blown motor is fine. Junk trans is fine. Plans are to swap those out. Stick, of course. If the drivetrain is good then so be it, I will just drive it while I source out a LS4 and F23/F40. Good tail lights is a big one. Decent glass, no defroster as we know it’s not needed. Performance sound would be good. Med metallic red like my last one would be nice. Didn’t know yellow was an option. Only seen a few yellow ones on here but those are way modded. Unless you mean gold. My first notchie was gold. Sunroof, but if not I’m sure a sunroof can easily be adapted since the frame already has the hole in it.
If I find a 87 GT med metallic red 5spd w/ a sc3 in it and Corsa exhaust then I will have to jump all over that since that is my old Fiero. But I know I will never see that car again. It’s probably sitting in some meth heads back yard in Oklahoma. Or it was wrapped around a pole/tree.
An 88 is like, to me, a 67 bug. One year only and harder to find some parts for. Unless I can be convinced otherwise, 87 GT or a 86 with the right parts upgraded to a 87.
Project car for sure, but drivable is a plus.

Gotcha. Just trying to identify what you need. All my Fieros are 88s. I can take a look around my area for 87s in reasonable condition with or without motors. They come up occasionally. Any budget you are working with?
