So, my daughter is really behind on videos. We actually already have the cradle removed, the engine out, and on an engine stand... but this is a couple of videos behind where she's preparing the engine bay for removing the subframe (basically, disconnecting everything).

keep in mind new parts for a 35 yo car may be junk.id only replace parts that are clearly damaged or at least keep the old parts just in case.btw she seems really smart. [This message has been edited by richard in nc (edited 11-18-2023).]

Most things that are static.. like brackets and such, will end up being sanded down and cleaned up. I'll go expensive on the parts that are internal and hard to get to... but there's not really a whole lot here except suspension components, alternators, and waterpumps, that are prone to failure. I've been buying up parts, but source-selecting specific parts that are original higher quality parts. Most of them are actually on closeout / clearance too because they're not being made anymore! But totally agree though... thanks!
