Hey guys, just posted another one... my daughter finished it up last night after karaoke... which apparently is a thing on Thanksgiving now when my mother-in-law is visiting...
Thanks for watching!

i have to wonder if the trailer hitch would have supported the car.

Haha, thanks... I appreciate it. By the way, is this Clem? I can't remember if this is you, but we've met before... but it was like over 20 years ago. I used to go to the Tower Shops car show every other Saturday with my medium metallic red 1987 Fiero SE / V6. I think you had the red Fiero GT with the nice wheels and the V8 swap. It's been a long time... I don't live in South Florida anymore, still have my house there but I rent it out now. I live in the greater Tampa area now. It's a real shame that the Tower Shops no longer allows the car show... that place was crazy, literally every Saturday. I hear they started doing one up on SR-84 just north of Nob Hill, but the last time I went to it, there were only a couple of cars...

To be honest, I wasn't really sure how sturdy it was at the time, and if it could handle the weight, but I'd planned to remove it anyway. When my daughter took the bumper off, it's actually a 1/2" thick plate of steel that meshes between the frame and the bumper. I mean... this plate is massive... and then there's a piece of angle iron and flat stock which makes up the hitch.
If I had to guess, the plate probably weighs something like ~120 pounds hanging off the rear bumper. I don't really want my daughter towing anything, so I'm going to remove it.

You have a good memory. Yes this is Clem and yes Tower Shopps was a great weekend get together. Several years ago a big building was built right where we parked all the show cars. On several occasions we had over 600 cars but 400--500 was the norm. Several new locations were tried and NONE of them came close to what we had.
I still have the Fiero but it has more power since you have seen it.
Keep your Daughters videos coming as I have not missed any of them. Tell her for me that she is doing a GREAT job.

Let me know if you end up at a car show up here... I'll check it out! Eventually, I'll make it to the Turkey Rod Run again!
Thanks for the comments too, I appreciate it!!!
And yeah, I really miss the Tower Shops shows. The Trader Joes and those other restaurants are nice... but I definitely miss the car show. It's a totally different place from what it was 20+ years ago. So much has changed...
