Hi all. My 4.9 is finally ready to be replaced. I've had a 2004 3800 NA Series 3 sitting in my yard on a pallet since 2016 and that's what I'll be replacing it with...and it will need a rebuild first...of course.
I'm looking for NA performance parts for that motor which came out of a Grand Prix. Ideally - I'd like longer rods with a shorter piston height using possibly a 4.1L bore and a cam. I'll get some head-porting done as well of course.
I'm not interested in boosting this motor. I have a 98 3800SC setup for that already.
I'm just wondering if someone has any experience with this or a website to point me at.
