I have an 88 that I got with an UT4 (all push button) this was the top of the line in 87 models, 88 top of the line is the UX1, same as the UT4 but instead of buttons, it has knobs. I had the UT4 completly refurbished by WAGS electronics and added bluetooth. But I much prefer the UX1 with knobs. are they the same other than the knobs and is one worth more than the other? I do have performance sound. Thanks

I've owned and partially torn both apart, also had a UT4 serviced by Wags. UX1/UT4 share amps and cassette drives (Blaupunkt-sourced). Pushbutton is more desirable for the 80s aesthetic, but knobs are more practical. Function vs. form.
