Is there any way to make your own t-tops seals from door seals or something? Or maybe a generic kit can work? How do Fiero owners deal with their t-tops these days?

People over the years have come with methods of modifying Camaro/mustang seals and even going so far to use standard hardware store door seals. The methods of modifying, cutting and gluing any type of rubber is usually the hard part. With no reproductions being made and trial on error of other GM seals being expensive, I believe the T-top Fiero market is due for some heavy investigating of other alternatives. For instance I learned a few years ago that door seals for a 67 Chevy C10 can be replaced with early 2000's Honda Accord or Civic door seals and are a perfect fit. The point is not many new ideas have been explored in quite a few years. Most surviving T-tops are well taken care off or have found a good donor to use so any methods of making seals are going to be 10 or so years old. (Unless someone proves me wrong, which I would welcome.)

Fox body Mustang seals and 3rd Camaro seals are the common go to seals that can be modified to fit.

TopNotch made his own seals for the yellow coupe. Email, call, or ask him at the next club meeting.
