All I did was copy the article header on msnbc.com
If you go to MSN Fiero (or something like that) you should find it. The story claims that blue was a production color in 87 (NOT) But there is a nice pic of a blue GT.

the 3.8 would have been a logical choice for a 1987 fiero.gm didn't want it as fast as the corvette.even though the grand nationals were.

Blue was definitely a production color in 1987.
You are in error.
Hey, do you know why there are no green Fieros? They all burned up? 🤣[This message has been edited by olejoedad (edited 03-17-2024).]

Yes there was a blue in 1987.
No Turbo 6 was planned after the canceled 2.9.
The Duke was not portly just needed a shorter pan. We know that story.
Porsche did tune the suspension but it was a GM design.
The 4 that was coming was a Quad 4 and with the head gasket failures that would not have gone well/ the 32 valve 6 was whst was coming.
Over time the stories are getting better but still fall short. We still need a book with the accurate info in it. This stuff needs documented.

I have all the Fiero factory and showroom sales material. There is no blue Fiero other than the rare one that was at the Fiero factory in Huntsville. I think I remember it was an 85. I last heard that it made it's way back to the original owner who was a member that saved it from a salvage yard. Ed Parks was going to try to restore it, but never got very far with that, so the Factory sent it back to the guy that saved it first. PMD originally hoped to release red, white and blue cars in 84, but a problem with either the blue paint or the factory paint line itself stopped that idea.
