I have been talking with Chris and Andy and they are both planing on attending. After my accident in April I canceled my hotel reservation and was not sure I would be there but I am determined to now! Reservations made!

I am too because this was a huge undertaking at the time. If 120 Fiero's can be registered for the upcoming Carlisle show, I would have hoped they could have been at this show too. Everyone on the East Coast should be attending.

I have been fortunate enough to attend most of the big shows at least once. Several without a Fiero. This will be my fourth trip to Frazee after a 5 year absence as I no longer have Fiero nor wife. The ONLY regret I have of leaving the Fiero community as I no longer have a garage, is being with the wonderful friends I have met along the way. When I was traveling I connected with fellow enthusiasts in WA, OR, ID, NV, UT, CA, AZ, NM, CO, TX, NE, TX, OK, AR, LA, FL, GA, PA, WV, VA, AL, NC, SC, TN, KY, IL, MN, MI, WI, SD, ND, IA and even Hawaii. I never made it to Fiero-rama, nor the Dells show but Frazee is special, a MUST do and yet there are those that have made excuses in the past and now will never go. No everyone has the time nor resources to attend but those that do will have a great time.[This message has been edited by infinitewill (edited 06-19-2024).]

Unfortunately, for many, the 6 weeks notice of it being the last time has made it tough. Midwest Fiero Clubs had already made a commitment to the M1 Concourse for Woodward in August and people's vacation and resources are allocated to that. If MWFC had known this further out, different decisions would have been made. Absolutely no fault to the family, just sadness that there are limitations.
I, personally wish I had more advance notice because we had this on our list of shows to attend in coming years but I have a work trip that overlaps and I can't get out of it.

I am sad to hear that the timing was bad, for those that wanted to go.
This show is SO unique when it comes to car shows. 99% Of car shows everyone hangs out around the hotel, and then the parking lot at night.
The Tyler Shipman show is on a Saturday. People usually arrive starting Wednesday evening. The Shipman's generously open their house, and their property for the weekend. Everyone brings their campers, tents, motor homes ect and hang out at the Shipmans house in the country. Some stay in local mom & pop motrels. We have buffets in the garage, hang out and party at night around the campfire (bonfire at times ). There are day trips planned to go to local swimming holes, usually a hay ride in the evening pulled by Jay's tractor. We even have been known to paint a Fiero in the afternoon (See above post) It was, and will be an AMAZING experience this one last time.
If you can make it, you you really should do everything in your power to do so, as this is the last chance.
