So, I was virtually driving around (Google Streets) by 900 Baldwin Avenue in Pontiac, Michigan... and realized that much of the Fiero Factory still exists? I guess there was an OLD part (the brick building part), and then the newer part that was built when they were making the Fieros. The plant apparently was ... at least previously ... the location where they made the 1973-1977 Pontiac Grand Prix. I guess it sat abandoned from that point until 1983 when they built the whole new building (attached to it) for Fiero offices, and what not.
The street view shows that the newer Fiero part of the building is still there, and is currently home to some waste management company called GFL (Green For Life Enterprises). I saw a video which had the same avatar as RWDPLZ, so I assume it was his, but it showed the older brick building.
I didn't spend too much time searching... but does anyone have any good video of the Fiero factory... like a tour or something like that? I've seen the "A Car is Born" video, but just curious if anyone bothered to do one of those abandoned building videos before it was torn down?

That was my video, it was shot on a $25 Nokia flip phone in 2010. Been there a number of times over the years, finally took my Fiero a few years later after I fixed the frame rust.
There's a thread, but a lot of the images were lost when the one PFF image server went down.

There was a video with some footage of the plant on Page 2

They actually had to go through some red tape to get these bricks legally, under the strict agreement they will NOT be sold. I won this at the Daytona car show raffle in 2014.

My understanding is that much of what survives along Baldwin is just a wall with a gutted shell, and behind it is largely open to the elements.

I have 2 bricks here a friend got for me.
I was lucky to have my car there in the early 90’s. I got a phot a shot in front the sign still with Fiero Assembly on it and under the bridge over Baldwin with the Fiero Emblem on it.
