The interior is nothing special , but I like basic.
Do you like the Miata's?

I really like the looks of the Solstice/Sky much better. Having owned an MGB, the Miata would probably be more representative of that line, but I'm not going to auto-cross it so I have no reason to pursue a Miata. Besides, to be honest, I like domestic vehicles better.

One of the car mags described it as (paraphrased) a Miata with a back seat and a roof. Definitely a driver's car.

A Solstice bodied car with a new 323 hp LFX V6 powering it would have been lots of fun........ |

I agree.^^^

I'm at 52K on it bought it with 26K.. thinks to look at are the top.. driv er seat and interior chrome..
The top just look it over... Right in the middle of the top look under the roof part and see if its starting to fray.. mine is a little but nothing to worry about....
2. the driver seat leather saggs in them very easley..
3 the crhome on the inside is really cheap and can come off with some cleaners...
I prefer the look of the solstice... its a one of a kind look as well.. the saturn sky is pretty much the same thing as the opel GT (which i beleave is still being made over seas) and Also deawoo makes a version of it as well. the solstice was a one and only.. also I think the interior looks a little more streem lined where the sky looks kind of cheap... there both cheaply made interiors but the solstice has a sporty appeal to it..

I'm in no hurry, so waiting works for me. I noticed the seats sagging in about all of the seat pictures I've seen. I'll look for top and chrome issues-thanks!

If we were going to sell one it would be the Sky because as you stated the Coupe is already somewhat collectable. If you love convertibles definitely get one instead of the Coupe as it is not very practical. You can’t take your hardtop with you like a Corvette so you either chance getting caught in a freak rain storm or you have to buy the soft top for an extra grand. The soft top requires you to assemble it before putting it on and if it’s raining already your interior is going to get wet. Of course I check the weather any time I’m going topless and never venture more than an hour’s drive without the top. Another reason the Sky would go before the Coupe would be mileage and year model as the Sky is a 2007 and the Coupe is 2009.

But seriously I am really not aware of any weak points myself. Wife is over 50000 miles without any issues on the Sky and I just rolled 10000 + 1 on the Solstice Coupe. They are great cars and a lot of fun to drive. Definitely get GXP or Redline the NA’s just don’t have the get up and go.

... theres quite a few solstice/sky owners on here... hulkiumybff ended his fiero addiction for a solstice (after driving mine he was hooked) and theres a few others.. carver1 has/had one and i think 84ta-at-work had one... they really are fun cars. When I bought mine I was looking at the MR2 spyder honda S2000 miata crossfire and SLK. Loved the s2000 but As a daily driver it was very very cramped... The MR2 was nice but had no stones when trying to get going. miata was fun but I felt like.. well I dident feel like a man complete man in it , the crossfire and SLK were very nice as well but the up keep of them was to much... The nice thing about the solstice is it may not look like it from the outside but its very roomy for a 2 seater.. not as roomy as the fiero but also not far off.. there not the fastest thing in the worls but they do get for what they are there about 177HP for an N/A which isant bad. There Ok on gas.. not the best but not the worst but they burn regular just fine. and the up keep on them is very inexpensive aside from tires..You wont be disapointed in a kappa..just be ready to get fliped off by miatta owners (happend 2 times to me since i got mine)
wilst on the subject heres my sol A much more manly color than Andys red one

I'm currently driving a 2010 Equinox with the EcoTec engine and it's sufficient in that big of a vehicle, but I still want the Turbo motor. I'm all about regular gas. My thoughts about the other 2 seaters are pretty much what you posted. Your picture was down. I'd still love to see it. Maybe the others will chime in. Are you a regular on the Solstice Forum?

Thanks for your thoughts. I guess I better stick to the convertible.
