Oh cool a Superstepside! I had dreams of doing that to my '90 9C1 but never materialized. Looking AWESOME so far!

Are you planning on doing the square headlights as lined out in the original instructions or using the late-90s Malibu headlights like a lot of the ones on the SSS website are using?

Planning on using custom headlight buckets with bi-xenon projectors. Easy build to do got the body off the Caprice and the kit on in a weekend. Taking a bit longer to build the custom pieces to make the door hinges appear to be part of the original kit.

Ive seen several of those at car shows. The one place that seems to be a problem is where the roofs join together. There is so much flat panel, the sun/ heat causes buckles and cracks. Dont just splice it and fill the seam. grind the whole Caprice metal roof thats left and run fiberglass over the whole panel to the windshield in one continuous single layer. Even better if you can cut off the whole roof to just behind the windshield and build the whole roof panel in fiberglass cloth. Just leave the metal above the windshield and the sides a few inches wide above the doors. One guy put a padded vinyl roof on his so you couldnt see the roof anyway.
