Thanks, looks like I need a coil then....that write up confused me, i thought plugs 2 4 and 6 were onthe front bank, but they are numbering things different, I guess they are just numbering by work order, not cylinder ?

Rock auto has Hitachi coils for $60, do you know if they are any good ?

Hitachi will work ok. Certain years used Hitachi coils from the factory, I think. Could be getting my asian imports mixed up, but you won't have an issue with it. Unless it is defective from the manufacturer

if you need any parts let me know, i have a 2001 maxima automatic for parts, im keeping the rear bumper stuff to fix an 02 model i bought, but the 01 is a parts car, it had a small upper intake fire, the rear coils are bad, but if you need any of the front coils they didnt see any heat/fire damage.

really i have no idea, the car had an engine fire, i would assume it was a running car, looks like a fuel line ruptured and caught just the plastic intake on fire, the inside of the motor is clean, car had a recent inspection sticker, but its a pretty rusty car

151,000 miles.

i can try to take pictures if you really want used cat's but i think new high flow cat's would be the better option.
