It has been, but not pushing the sale too hard. You know, not listing in papers, just throw a sign in it at a show or two. Been asking 12,500, 10 would own it. Everybody wants it, nobody around here has the money. It is eating no hay so I just get it out every once in a while to blow out the cobwebs. Even thought about making it a daily driver. Nicer looking (I think) then some cars at twice (or 3x) the price, and don't see one or two at every street corner.

Interesting. I've been slowly getting out of Fiero's and I'm down to my last two. I'm on the fence on whether to let them go or not, but if I do, I'm in the market for some sort of 2nd gen Camaro. I'm in the middle of a restore on my wife's big bumper 77 type LT. She's had it since high school, and it's getting the works, but that takes time when you're doing it yourself. Wouldn't mind driving something before it gets done. I'll keep yours in mind. ------------------

All I'm tryin to say is that is WAY over priced!!! I'm not trying to say that model doesn't have a colletebility factor but that car would probably need 20 grand in restoration. The interior is shot, There is a lot of rust under the hood so who knows how much is on the chassis?? It doesnt have a 100k odometer so you cant really tell if the millage they report is accurate.
I would give 10 grand for that maximum in order to make it a wise investment. It has potential, but not at that price!! It does say obo so I'm sure they are prepared to take a lot less. Pricing it high to curb low ballers and still get a decent price for it. I try not to be too cynical when it comes to peoples asking prices but there a lot of things to take under consideration when it comes to a car like this.

Thinking any car is an "investment" could be a big mistake. As Jay Leno once said, "If you restore a car, and you're making money, then you are doing it wrong."

Wow...... you are really digging into me partner!! I thought when I joined this forum that everyone was really friendly, helpful, and non judgemental of others on the board. I would hate to think otherwise!
