Is there a boneyard nearby that has a similar truck for you to pull parts from? Is the truck at your house? Although expensive, your local Chevy dealer should be able to order them. I'd recommend your local Ace hardware, but I'd hate to see you twist those Chinese bolts off.

Most all yards in my area junked older trucks like that so finding parts is spotty. I may try a dealer though at least to find out what size and pitch I am after.

Ok, got it to shift good and run better as well as the front driveshaft in and been running it off and on for a year now. I took it to Pittsburgh and back a few times and on the last trip it started to have a BAD bog above 3000 or half plus throttle whichever happens first. Any ideas on this? Has new plugs, wires, cap, rotor and fuel filter. I did take the air cleaner off to see what the injectors were doing and they look to be spraying even and strong. I'm thinking bad gas or timing issues at this point. Any ideas on these big blocks?
