I had a 76 Nova Concourse a four door. It had a 350 4 bbl three speed auto set up as a cruiser with a 2:72 posi rear end. It was a great cruiser, but prone to "corrosion" (rust). I gave it to my father-in-law in '82 and he drove it for a few years until the corrosion became too bad to pass Maine state inspection.
It was my first custom built by Chevrolet car with all my special options.
Looking at the ads for the 76 Nova, mine new was less than $5300. I can't see spending $7600 or so for a 76 Nova six.[This message has been edited by Old Lar (edited 05-18-2015).]

$5000+ for a new 76 Nova? My 75 El Camino SS was $3000 new.

Speaking of Novas
This was at a local car show two years ago, apparently a package that came with the car new.
