Any chance you could post a picture of the interior with the seats folded flat? I'm curious what gaps exist where - it's always a concern for me because I don't like my dog tripping around in the back seat.

Sorry I have not checked here in a bit.
I will get out tomorrow and take a few shots with the seats down.

Here is a shot of the rear seats folded down.

I only did the passenger side all the way, if you want a very gap free area you can remove the headrests and pull the front seat back to it and it shuts off pretty nicely.
The side areas are also pretty well fitted to the doors.

My pup loves it back here!
He is pretty old (14 years) and a small ShihTzu, and has no issues so far.... of course most of the time he is just napping.

Congrats!

I just had to have an alignment on mine, but we have big potholes and lots of them. First time it was in the shop in 4 years (other than ignition switch).

I bought my '06 new and drove it 8 1/2 years (138,000 miles). It had the 2.4L four. I had no real issues with the car. Swapped out shocks and struts at 60K miles, brakes at 94K miles. I had to replace a couple of sensor (intake and exhaust about 100K miles). I averaged 30 mph (I drove it like an old man). It had the ignition recall done at 120k miles (I had no issues with it) but when the dealer replaced the ignition switch, the new keys would not work the door lock and was told the door cylinder was worn. I used the key fob to open the door and not the key. (WTF) I ended up buying a new door cylinder and paid to have that swapped in .

I was PO'ed at GM for this crap and traded the car away in October 14, and bought this

The Tucson has a direct injection four and seems pretty peppy off the line.

I like the size and functionality of these type of daily driver.

The HHR was not a track car, but the Tucson seemed to handle better because it was easier to down shift for the tight curves at Watkins Glen.
