I bought the Galant yesterday despite what a few of the many say. Majority agree that it is a great car. reading reviews, I will have issues with the AC compressor and rear windows. AC compressor looks like a 2 hr job tops. rear windows, meh... i will deal with that if it ever becomes an issue

Why I don't buy a new car, You shouldn't have to make repairs on a car only a few years old. If I dump more than 5 grand in a car I expect quality. Or I'll put 5 grand into something old and much more fun. Besides Mitsubishi is going under soon.

Sorry, possibly misunderstood me. the older versions of this car are the ones with these common issues. Mine has no issues at all, other than minor scratches to the interior trim. As soon as it stops raining here, I will take some pics for you all. I am definitely pleased with my purchase so far. It is a white with a blue perl.
