LS1gt6.com was a lot of inspiration, the car was in an accident on the passenger side, and what was going to be a quick fix has turned into totally rebuilding the passenger side, I fell it is best to replace it all and make it right .. The left side has been removed and waiting on new panels. got engine and trans pulled once panels are replace I am pulling the whole body off to have frame cleaned and powder coated. one door is ready to clean up surface rust inside and reskin..

Edit: AT LEAST $40k. That's a lot of work if you were rebuilding something generic. Half your battle will be finding parts.

$40k nah, giving lots of room for unexpected issues I am going to guess closer to 20K. I am not doing actual LS swap probably pick up a 4.8 and spend around $350 , then a muncie 4speed will save a lot over the T56, 20k for a car that in good shape on best of days will bring maybe close to 10k and that would be a very good day for the seller.... I am going to do 90% of all the work on my own.
