...just saw this thread...

I REALLY liked my Solstice. I had an 07 2.4 n/a. Power on it was pretty good, I fit well even at 6'2" (didn't fit in a Sky due to dash design), and I got over 30mpg on the highway.
A/C and misalignment on the top (caused to wear spot) were taken care of under warranty. Other that that, trouble free. Also one of the easiest cars to change the oil....

I would not want it as a daily driver, but was a very good play thing. I had it lowered, a GM CAI, several different wheels, painted the windshield surround and waterfall red to match the car...., and some VERY nice Norm's Fiberglass bits.

Oh I love the Solstice. I first fell in love with it at some international auto show in the early 2000's. She was gorgeous...and bright yellow. I'd love to own one.
